Though Villa Yang’s charms may tempt you to spend your entire holiday within its luxurious embrace, there’s plenty to see and do beyond the villa. Phuket has a wealth of sights and activities to enjoy, and your villa manager is there to help recommend excursions and arrange transport. In the meantime, here are just a few ideas for activities within reach of Villa Yang:

  • Discover the beauty of the Andaman Sea aboard a luxury yacht. Cruise the waters of Phang Nga Bay to see its towering karst islands and the fascinating floating Panyee village, or visit the sparkling white sands and snorkelling sites of Raya island.
  • Set a day for water play by surfing, kayaking, windsurfing, wakeboarding, stand-up paddling, or by taking a scuba diving trip off one of Phuket’s beaches or nearby islands.
  • Get a taste of Thai culture and theatrical flair at the Phuket FantaSeashow in Kamala or Siam Niramit near Phuket Town.
  • Indulge in a luxurious day spa session at one of Phuket’s renowned spas including the Banyan Tree Spa, or go for a simple seaside massage at the beach.

  • Step back in time to Old Phuket on a walking tour of the island’s historic streets.  Discover more about the rich cultural influences behind the island’s centuries-old Sino-Portuguese buildings and flavourful regional cuisine.
  • Take the tastes of Thailand back home with you by learning how to make your favourite dishes in a Thai cookery class.  To delve in further, try taking a class that includes a shopping trip to a local fresh market.
  • Explore Phuket’s lush interior on a bicycle tour, an ATV trip, jungle trail walks to waterfalls, a visit to the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project or elephant sanctuary, or zip-lining through the thick canopy at Hanuman World.
  • Make a retail therapy session at one of Phuket’s malls inclusive Jungceylon in Patong and Central Festival in Phuket Town, or at some of the island’s boutique shops and lively street markets.
  • Tee off at one of several golf courses in Phuket including the Laguna Phuket Golf Club, Loch Palm and Mission Hills.
