Villa dining

For many, the delicious local cuisine is a highlight of any trip to Thailand and at Villa Yang you’ll have the chance to explore Thai culinary delights with the villa’s talented chef available to advise on and prepare all meals fully customised to your tastes.

See our extensive menu list at Villa Yang, mostly Thai dishes but a selection of Western dishes is also available, and any special requests and dietary restrictions may be discussed with the chef. Seafood aficionados will want to try a barbecue feast with a choice of imported and locally sourced delicacies including Phuket lobster, tiger prawn and blue crab.

Meals at Villa Yang are of five-star quality yet are very reasonably priced, with provisions charged at market cost plus a 50% surcharge. Guests are requested to provide a float in advance for groceries, and the staff will handle all the shopping and keep the receipts for reference when settling the bills.

Villa staff

Warm and professional hospitality customised to each guest’s needs is a prime advantage of staying at Villa Yang. Six full-time staff, including an efficient and friendly villa manager, excellent Thai chef and a team of nothing’s-too-much-trouble housekeepers are at your service. Talk with the villa manager to discuss all aspects of your stay, and let her know whether your group prefers frequent staff contact and care throughout the day or a more discreet style of service.

Villa manager

Acting as a liaison between guests and villa staff, the English-speaking villa manager is the main contact person for planning meals and other in-villa activities as well as providing assistance in booking transport and tours around the island.

Chef (Optional)

The villa chef prepares breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks with an emphasis on Thai cuisine. Meals can be selected from an extensive suggestion menu, while special dietary needs and other special requests will be accommodated whenever possible. (Optional service and additional charge)

Housekeeping

Housekeeping staff take care of all the daily cleaning and tidying up, as well as assisting with kitchen and dining service.

Pool & Garden

Villa service staff handle regular pool cleaning, gardening and maintenance services.

Spa/Massage

Ask the villa manager to bring in a local spa therapist and enjoy a private treatment in the comfort of Yang’s terrace, bedrooms or living areas. Refer to the spa menu for the massage, manicure and other treatments on offer.

Security

Estate security staff work on rotating shifts 24 hours a day.

Families activities

With its peace, sumptuous comforts and welcoming staff, Villa Yang is bound to provide a memorable family holiday. The villa is particularly suitable for families with older children (the hillside location and several flights of stairs may be a challenge for younger ones), and having the freedom to gather and unwind in privacy, looked after by the exceptionally warm staff, will make everyone feel right at home. If parents fancy a night out on the town, the villa manager will be happy to arrange for a babysitter for a small extra charge.

The infinity-edge pool with its gorgeous ocean views is sure to be a popular gathering place for families. There’s a shaded terrace and comfy sunbeds for downtime between swims and a shallow area for non-swimmers. Villa Yang’s large and lavish ensuite bedrooms promise everyone a comfortable night, while its living areas provide stylish-but-not-stuffy places to relax. In the living room is a TV for watching movies or cartoons in air-conditioned comfort, just steps away from the pool.

A high chair and baby cot are available on request while other items such as car seats can be hired from reputable local agencies to save you the hassle of travelling with cumbersome equipment.

A key advantage for families staying at Villa Yang is having exclusive use of the kitchen and its full-time chef to ease any worries or fuss over mealtimes and snacks. Talk with the chef about your family’s preferences to ensure that even the pickiest of eaters is satisfied. Let kids explore Thai cuisine by browsing the menu and selecting such child-friendly and delicious choices as chicken satay skewers, khai jiao (Thai omelette) or a simple rice stir-fry.

Phuket is a family-friendly destination with many activities and sights that will delight children. Take a look at our Things to Do page for a start, and check out the guest guidebook when you arrive at the villa to discover more tours and activities.

Spa experience

Villa Yang’s tranquil setting is perfect for enjoying a private spa session. Consult the spa menu to find a treatment that will soothe and revitalise your senses. Yang’s large bedrooms offer cool comfort and privacy while a poolside massage allows you to unwind in the tropical breezes while taking in the sea views.
